Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious, knowledgeable, and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA). PA performs all duties and functions of a healthcare provider such as assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation of patients. Furthermore, as a startup, we practice an interdisciplinary team approach and will require the Physician Assistant to be involved in and understand the greater function of each aspect of our office – both administratively and clinically. In this role you will be charged with examining patients, prescribing medicine, and ordering diagnostic tests, and will act both with and without the oversight of an attending physician, requiring a high degree of independent thought and decision-making abilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain optimal client care and client health, applying approved protocols to data collection, analysis of results, and treatment plans; implement physician directive
  • Assess client health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, reviewing results within the context of lifestyle (sleep, stress, diet, nutrition), and obtaining medical histories, including personal and family.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient records, including updating findings and treatment, medical reports, diagnosis, medication, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between the physicians, clients, and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate closely with all members of the clinical operations team and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements in the delivery of patient care.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees
  • Minimum of one year of relevant primary care clinical experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65.00 – $100.00 per hour
